Groot is going to try to stubbornly ignore this whole prank thing and go about his day, so it shouldn't be hard to set something up. It's really not until later that he realizes he can't avoid it, but even then he's not going to be uber cautious. Just grumpier.

Completely doable and most likely would work, especially if you pull it off at his place of work (the grocery store)!

Honestly, Groot is more inclined to want to talk to ANOTHER personification of Death out of curiosity than have any complaints of pranking.
